Whoa... That was definately the most amazing fanfic I've read on here(and I've been reading a lot lately). This story was lovely, and would make for a pretty awesome movie if you ask me :). It was so sad when Jack died! I actually cried! No other stories have made me cry yet. And I love how you described everything so well... Like when Ralph was falling in love and then when Jack was dying... Roger used to be one of my favorites, but now I hate him! This story really played with my emotions. I really liked the epilogue... It shows how Ralph is getting along okay and stuff. If you hadn't have put the epilogue on there I would have thought that Ralph would have killed himself or somethin later on :-0. Ohh and I liked the song by the way... It was good, so I went and bought it. :-)

The epilogue was extremley sweet!

But I don't think the children's story is that bad to tell a child...but I had a strange childhood...most kids don't have PG-13 movies as their favorite movie at age 2...

This was so... moving. For the first time in a long time, I actually cried for a fic. I actually had to take a break for a minute to clean my glasses and calm my sniffling. You're an amazing writer! Your characterizations were very good. I really didn't feel anything in particular towards Roger, but I can say that you certainly made me feel for Jack and Ralph. The plot progression was really nice and well done. The beginning was dragged out, but it gave the fic a sense of mundane, daily life. Towards the end, I like how the flow sped up and you managed to cram more and more events into such a tiny space, sounding off the hectic events. The ending was horrible from my fluffy girly heart point of view; but it was brilliant from my literary mind's point of view. The destruction of one of the heroes, and not just the villain, was very real.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE THE EPILOGUE! That is SUCH a cute idea. I especially love the beginning, when Ralph says he understands the boys' change at night.

Thank you for writing this great piece of work! Your story is the first multi-chaptered fic I've read for this fandom, and I'm really happy my first one was yours. It sets up a little pier of expectations for the rest of the fics on here, :P.

my favorite thing in the story, which I thought was a very good way of putting him/them in it, was that good angel disguised as a dark one. That was Samneric right? If so, YAY! if not, I will continue to think of it as so.
This was so wonderful, but of course, all good things must eventually come to an end.

whoa. I'm actually not really big on Jack/Ralph but this fic just completely sucked me into the ship. Your writing is just pure awesomeness--there were really really really small grammatical things but the structure and everything is just pure awesomeness.

I was brought to tears at the end of this chapter. I guess all good things must come to an end. Poor Jack...JACK! Why him? I felt Ralph's pain in those moments because of the way you described it.

Sweet story overall. I loved all the imagery you used, especially in the last few chapters. It makes me feel like getting back on the island myself.
