Excellent piece of fanfiction.

Your writing style was subtle, spare and utterly brilliant.

I loved this piece because of its realism, it wasn't out there or strained but appropriately depicted the isolation of a group of survivors 217 years into the future.

I could feel that cold, distant atmosphere and that made this piece so much more effective. The addition of some Hicks and Ripley was the icing on the cake, mainly because I like the dynamic (and the very subtle attraction) between the characters.

This is a fantastic addition to 'Aliens' fanfiction.

Hi! Thanks a bunch for writing this story, there are not so many fics that deal with the aftermath of Aliens, especially when you need to consider the other crappy movies (3rd and 4th)

You managed to capture what was so subtled and veiled in Aliens... that interesting family bond that the survivors had. And I adored that Hicks's line "I lied"... (when he gave the locator, it didn't mean he & Ripley were engaged)

This was an amazing story. I like how you created the entire set up. You really didn't know much of anything that was going on; The reader was as lost as Ripley, Hicks (when he came back), Newt, and Bishop were whilst in the care of those people. The illustration of their stiuation was excellently written, I could imagine everything unfolding in my mind. And at first, the further along I read it, I thought for a second that they were being isolated because they were actually impregnated with Ailen Embryos, despite what they were told. "Oh Sh*t! They're doomed!" Is what I was thinking, I'm glad it turned out to be otherwise!

And seriously, I loved the little RipleyxHicks Moment. I was seriously diggin' that vibe.


All in all I enjoyed reading this story!
