The scenario of this drabble is very unique. Not many people choose to write about Riku and Kairi on Hook's ship.
I love the fairy-tale references, as well as the melancholic mood of this. It's depressing how Riku is desperate to have Kairi wake up from her shell-like state. Gah; Riku is such a tragic character- at least in the first game.

I love your drabbles. I love them so much. You don't need a lot of words to bring a powerful idea across, and I love that. I envy that.

Like this, for instance. Riku's emotional state just comes screaming out in bright flashy colors, like an emergency sign or something. And the fairytale themes carry over very well.

It feels like Riku could have actually thought this, and he probably had. Poor Kairi, I always felt bad for her when she was that shell of a girl.

Nice reference to the Thylassa shell, I like the connection you made with that to Kairi. And I agree, it IS like a twisted fairytale...an uber awesome twisted fairytale. :P
