Can I say again how in character this was? I can totally imagine this as a deleted scene or something from the movie. I also love how you mention prison, most writers seem to skim over that. And his utter rudeness and apathy towards Mrs. Lovett, most people make it less but yours was very, very belivable. And the dialogue, everything... I can't get over how in character this is. Are you like the secret screenwriting for the Sweeney Todd movie? xD
