I try to refrain from using exclamation points in reviews but, oh my God that is just how I feel.
I couldn't help but jump slightly at the last sentence, it was epic beyond reason.

So sad. I bet Abel's crying a bit inside too after that confession.

Oh, jeez, this one grabbed hold of my heartstrings and gave a mighty yank. Johanna pouring out her feelings had me tearing up. No surprise, though, that she feels the way she does, but will she ever learn that she was actually pouring out her heart to the object of her affections? Oh, the story possibilities...

She does seem to have a way of getting herself into more trouble, doesn't she?
