Oh. My. Lord. I'm not sure where to even start. This is quite possibly one of the best stories I have read in a long time. The idea is so simple, but the way you have it written out is just amazing. It's beautiful and powerful. The thought of Lyle as the special one, the 'cheerleader' is just amazing. And even though it spans throughout the entire season (and a half, I suppose) it doesn't feel the least bit redundant because you have such a wonderful spin to it.

I'm at a loss for words. You are a genius.

Wow. That was intense. I really enjoyed seeing things from Lyle's point of view with him as the special as opposed to Claire; that was pretty cool. And the ending was just brilliant I absolutely loved how you brought the story through a full circle, back to the start. Bravo!
