This is by far one of the best Eva fanfics I've ever read. It's so dark and dreary, just like Shinji, and yet, there's that little bit of wishful thinking or longing from when he and Kaworu were together. Your writing style is fantastic. If this wasn't a fanfic, but part of a collection of short stories, I would totally buy it. Keep up the good work! You almost made me cry. Shinji and Kaworu are my two fave couples! <3

I'm way late on reviewing this, but my God. This is far and away the best Evangelion fanfic I've ever read. Hell, I think it's the best fanfic I've ever read, period. I love the way you wrote it; your style is unusual, experimental, and somehow very fitting. You were able to take it in a slightly different direction while keeping them entirely in character. This is just incredible. I honestly can't praise you enough.

Wow, I have to say every time I read your Evangelion fics I feel like I'm getting utterly spoiled. This was highly enjoyable to read, the mentions of irony, the fact that other characters are included in this (realistic) and your poetic writing style, makes this fic really beautiful. I could only wish that every person who writes Kaworu x Shinji fanfiction would take the time to put some depth of philosophy and emotion as you have done.

Your style is special and very refreshing, matching the scene-ish construction of the story (which I like a lot).

Moreover, I love the way you describe the developing relationship between Shinji, being shy and hesistant, and Kaworu, who is so intrusive (both characterised perfectly).
You really hit the right atmosphere and themes - confusing, philosophical and tinted in shadows.

This is a very interesting piece. The way it was written is very different but i like it. It makes me think which at the best of times is hard for me to do.
