so sad- love how you contrast the reality (that they really couldn't live together; sirius would have killed the 'thing' playing with it :D) and the dream- which is beautiful, especially in its simplicity (small but clean it makes it all the more bittersweet, leaving her really wishing she could fit the stereotype. wonderful look into her head, nice job.

I wasn't sure if I liked it at first but by the time I finished reading it I was sure I did. I really like how she loves the fantasy, but recognizes that it's just that: a fantasy. A lovely portrait!
