Wow just wow, you've captured Rei's character brilliantly and portrayed her relationship with Minako practically flawlessly (mind you their realtionship can be very confusing but wonderfully dynamic)! So a big hi-five to you and this awesome piece of work!

Wou, I'm...I'm pretty much wordless. I have always loved Rei/Minako in PGSM, those little hints and everything (especially Kiss Kiss Bang Bang moment...) You captured those two so well.

This is quite possibly the most powerful insight into Rei that I've ever read:

"There were two times where Rei felt the most complete; that the empty, gaping abyss in her had been suddenly filled with a feeling that she could not describe, perhaps it was contentment, but stronger by a thousand times. Once was when she had stood there, summoning the powers of Mars, calling forth her weapon, and found Venus’ in her other. The sensation…it was so powerful—her chest heaved, back and forth, and that emotion!"

The way you detail Rei's feelings, still so very insecure and uncertain of just what that emotion that she feels is, was very powerful, and so right-on, as was the way you addressed the blantent subtext we see in PGSM. The turning point, their kiss, was also nicely done, in both the build up, the dialogue, and then the sudden yet fitting change that softened them afterwards.

I don't think I have words that can describe how entirely beautiful I found this. I always loved the MinakoRei interaction and relationship in PGSM and you just... got, you nailed it. Beautifully. This is going to my favourites. Thanks for writing this wonderful piece.
