This is so faithful to the game (I could visualize everything happening on my TV screen), and I love the personality you give the prince. Good job!

This piece does an excellent job offering a different and rather non-canonical take on the events and relationships of Katamari Damacy while still keeping the tone and feel in line with that of the games. It would have been easy to take the idea of the Prince as a typical teenager and run with it, abandoning the strange, subtle humor of the games. Kudos for instead taking the effort to merge the two threads; it allows the story to poke fun at the ridiculousness of the Katamari world and the Prince-King dynamic while still *feeling* like it fits in snugly with the Katamari world (even if it isn't plausible canon). The humor was also helped by the prosaic descriptions of game mechanics like alarms and timers, further underscoring the absurdity of the situation without being too blunt. Well done.
