An excellent excellent exploration piece.

Like how you left out any detail whom Negi may have actually ended up with, yet involve Chao, and Eva's passing unkown The relation between Setsuna and Eva was also very appropriate and the moods played were right somehow, complex but comforting if ever they were left to be the only ones.

I was wondering if someone had made a fic concerning Setsuna after Konoka's time. You did well, though I would think she'd think back on that detail more - then again maybe she does think alot of Konoka with all her free time, or too far back now even to remember how much it hurt to think back on it at all...

Jaw droppingly brilliant. Amazingly so. Though, I'm sure Chao's meddling must've made some different and/or awareness that Negi could've used to prevent he future. Or maybe it was jus that meddling thatade the world like that in some sort of time paradox. Ugh, brain hurts...

Its really saddening that setsuna is always left to loneliness.

But i love the fact that they manage to still live and move on even after having a wasted life.

I think the story really started to take off when Evangeline met Chao but on the other hand, I think the beginning forms a necessary component and contrast to the later Eva. The fact that Setsuna was left behind was heartbreaking. But, maybe while Chao failed, Eva still managed to secure her goals and the ending is more uplifting than I thought it would be. Congrats on a very well written story.

I have probably never read a fanfic as well written as this one; in the respect that i could easily view this as a side story for canon.

It also helps that the story contains minimal amounts typos and grammatical errors ^^

All in all, i have enjoyed this story immensly and i thank you for having written, it really made my day ;)

Interesting to say the least. This one is a Konosetsu fan through and through but only recently realised that in the circumstances involving Konoka's rejection and/or death, then Evasetsu could be a possibility and they really would be everlasting. This one always wondered how they would function, an long since suffering Eva paired with a very emotionally fragile Setsuna and this one thought that this interpretation of their relationship was a realistic if a little angst filled. There were tender moments, as much as a scathing Eva could manage, and there were depressing moments with seemingly no happy future at all for the heroines.
Introduction of Chao and time-travelling fitted in nicely, although Eva not returning was a heartbreaking moment - possibly expected, given the tone of the whole piece. This rather dull one found the ending ambiguous but on a good note, since it could signify the complete end or whole new beginning for the wretched hanyo of a tragic heroine.
This one much prefers happier endings with small trials for both Eva and Setsuna, both deserve happier times after the mess they have been through so far - however this one did enjoy the fanfiction, it was down-to-earth and sobering if nothing else.
This unworthy one thanks you for writing this piece and apologises for not reviewing immediately... this one needed some 'fluff' to get out of the dark remains of the world that you described most intricately.

at first i was like "what the heck?!?",but just because it was something new to read...the concept was really intrigueing and i thought "great,i want to read more!"..although the content was at some pionts a bit off for the fast understanding,however the characters were portrait in an interesting way and i liked that too...^^

it was nice to read this story and you could tell that you put a lot effort in to the developing!!

It's ** awesome. I liked it entirely too much for someone who says she doesn't like angst (even if she writes it, very very badly) and I'm sure it will have me thinking for a very, very long time.

I've seen, what, three whole stories about the future and about Chao. And this just totally blows them out of the water.

It's melancholic. Dark and despairing but still disgustingly hopeful and you just know this is what the world would be like. And could very well still be like, should Chao fail. I make no sense.

Chao is just right, Setsuna is raw and Evangeline is horribly perfect. How many ends of worlds has Eva seen, after all?

I'm envious. It's brilliant.
