Allie's mother is trying to match her up with very rich men, with the intent of marriage. Allie doesn't want to marry someone she doesn't even know. I really enjoyed the description in the ending of how Allie is applying her make-up and putting on her green dress. Maybe add to the end a part where Noah first sees Allie? Why does Allie not want to be matched up with a rich man?

allie and noah haven't met yet. but it showes how different their lives are, && how different their worlds that they live in.
i really liked this story because i can really picture what's going on. i really could see it when she was getting ready for the carnival and putting on her red lipstick and her green dress.
