Ah... Dark and beautiful. So good to find something dark and beautiful, tragic and misunderstood, something worth reading. There's so much garbage out there, but the search, the shuffling through all that garbage, is so very much worth it when you finally find that one story that's dark and beautiful. It takes just the right person to appreiciate things so dark and beautiful- some people aren't made to handle it. Some people don't understand how those two words fit together, don't see that true beauty has to be dark. My Language Arts teacher, for example, doesn't get it. She cannot deny that my work is often beautiful, but takes off points under voice saying that my stories are 'a little too dark for this assignment'. Your story, I'd like to see her critisize that. Darkness and beauty, when the right person comes across it, is almost too wonderful to comprehend. It is astounding.

This was good; Dib was very IC. Gaz was OOC, though. True, people change and mature over the years, but I'd like to know *how* someone as selfish as Gaz came to care about Zim and Gir so much.

Why on Irk are there only 37(38 now) reviews for this story! This is the best, best, BEST future fic I have EVER read! I can actually see all of this happening to the characters! Everything's so VIVID and DARK and PERFECT! I was getting that tight stomach feeling during the Zim-being-experimented-on scenes. I love it when I get that feeling through fanfics! Dang...you write so freakin' well!
On another note: did you stop liking Zim or something? I haven't seen any new fics concerning him lately, and I miss being wowed by your incredible Zim-writing talents...

THIS IS THE COOLEST FIC EVAH!

The first angst fic I've ever read about IZ (seen first on Over The Stars) and arguably the best one yet. I'm so glad I found it on so I could review it. Yay.

This is such an amazing fic, I love it to bits. You portrayed Dib fantastically. I read this fic a while ago but didn't have time to review, but I assure I did have loads of well put praise and insights. (Stupid crappy memory) I really do love this story, your writing style makes it a pleaure to read. I'm not the biggest fan of first person fics but you really changed my mind on that. Excellent work on a truly great piece, I could read it endlessly.

I like the characterization of Dib, I can actually see his personality shining through. I also like the several small descriptions of Zim, because he CAN look hateful. Although usually he just looks cute, with those huge red eyes, y'know? I love angstiness...

This story makes my day. I love it how we think we know more than Dib but is he merely self-deluded, or insane? Or maybe even partly right? Oh, and nice cliff-hanger.
