Very nice! The Unicorn's lines are very well written. I could hear her speaking them. Lir is also very well written. So sad, but a very good mini sequel of sorts to the film. )

This has been one of my most cherished childhood stories, every day I waould watch the movie and ever so often my mother read me the book (until I could read it for myself). I can honestly say that you captured the bittersweet beauty of thier unrequited love most beautifully. Well done, my dear!

Wow! Well written, phenomal characterizations! This is exactly what I pictured Lír doing just before he died... this was sad but beautiful, heart-wrenching but magical and it followed the book/movie perfectly. I feel the most sorry for the Unicorn, who is unable to cry like a mortal can... she will always regret never being able to do this, and you examined all of the characters and their thoughts/motives perfectly in this excellent story. Bravo!
