Confusing... but I think you could build on this... Shinji searching through universes during Third Impact... with what purpose? What does he want to achieve? Is there even any point? So many questions you could ask, so many fictional answers. I'm not saying you should do anything, but I'm giving you a suggestion to keep in mind, so maybe when you write again, you'll use this as a platform for more work. Good luck anyway.

Hmm...It was a fairly well-written piece, though probably not quite the sort of story I usually favor. But I just have to applaud your use of "the good soldier." EVA and year zero go together like chocolate and peanut butter! If you were inspired to do NGE songfics for, say, the entire album...that would be a wonderful thing. :-) I've attempted to come up with some pieces based on End of EVA using "in this twilight," "zero-sum," and a couple of others, but I haven't been able to do justice to either the songs or the movie. If you were able to, you'd be my hero!
