best obsessed 2009-05-12 . chapter 1I wish you might write some more of this: it is beautiful and insightful, aware of the extreme difficulties Pocahontas and John Smith would have in real life in starting or continuing a relationship. I haven't seen The New World, though, should I? |
 udon'tknowmebutiknowme 2008-04-29 . chapter 1liked it. squeal? |

Demented Insane Spirit 2008-02-28 . chapter 1:P Glad that I waited until I read both of them to review...
Grr, still like John Rolfe better. I didn't get how quickly he fell in love with her, though. At least John Smith had time.
Poor Pocahontas |
Lost in Day Dreams 2008-02-23 . chapter 1 It wouldnt let me review twice, the mean thing! Lol! But anyhoo, that new part at the end was so beautiful! I even felt the pain John was feeling! Lol! Fantastic job, my friend! |
PocahontasJohnSmithForever 2008-02-14 . chapter 1That was a good story, I loved it! I love the movie The New World, its' one of my favorite movies besides Disney's Pocahontas,Titanic and so on. I'm glad to see stories be written about The New World. These has never been done before. And I'm glad to see other Pocahontas movies beeing written besides the most popular disney movie. Don't get me wrong I still love the disney version the best. But I also love any movies relating Pocahontas. |
Lost in Day Dreams 2008-02-12 . chapter 1Aww, that was so sweet and tragically beautiful! I really loved it! Great job, my friend! :) |
LH2005 2008-02-12 . chapter 1I really liked how you dove into both of their minds and uncovered the reasoning behind their out of character actions. Viewers miss all of this when watching a film, so it's neat to get to see what they are thinking vs seeing on screen. Great job! |
babyb26 2008-02-11 . chapter 1Oh, you moved this from the Pocahontas cat. before I could review it. This was very well done and done right, brava. I loved the characterization and the tie to the historical context. I have found that there are two views- those who live under the false illusion that those who like or write the Poca/JS romance don't know history (which is very false, I am a historian myself)or we are a bunch of nuts (by the way I am very nuts). But the truth is that we just have an imagination and like playing around with hitory and on this note I hope to see much more from you within this fiction branch. |
