In Medication Truth? At least that's how I interpret it. Since In Vino Veritas probably wouldn't work on Dean unless he drank a full bottle, nice spin on the adage. A loopy Dean is a fun one.

I just recced this over at a drugged!Dean theme, so I read it again. I love how funny and adorable this is, and how the more profound and poignant parts are so seamlessly woven in. There's something compelling about getting glimpses behind the façade of a character who always puts up a front.

I was laughing outright at Dean staring intently at the pear tree. His fascination with everything was endearing, especially with Sam's height and his pride in being a good big brother. You always get me on Wee!chesters and the games Dean played with Sam to help him out: the clothes hunts was adorable. I love Dean's descriptions of Sam as a kid. It really drives home that Dean was Sam's parent because only a parent would know that much, be able to talk so familiarly, about the little things like getting dressed or teaching them to read.“My Sam…,” Dean exhaled, and he was out.
So cute!“Sam!” Dean turned to the woman. “This is my…” He drifted a second. “…Sammy.
LOL! His Sammy. It's like it's an actual object, instead of a name.*Dean laughed. “Sammy, she makes pies.“Not for you,” Sam said firmly, and frog-marched them back toward the room.
Lol! So good. Dean on drugs is both hilarious and heart-wrenching. Actually, Dean himself is hilarious and heart-wrenching.)
