I LOVED THIS CHAPTER!

I've read the first three chapters now and though I generally enjoy it, I have a hard time with Charlie "struggling to keep up appreances". I'm not quite sure I get why he does it. I mean, people seem to have an idea of who he is already, and the men of the law outright know who he is. What's stopping them from telling Sara and her father?

Also, Sara seems way too trusting in the beginning. She's more or less alone in a place dominated by men and then along comes a dangerous stranger who takes an interest in her, an no warning bells go off? I don't know...

Maybe things will be resolved in later chapters. I'll be sure to read on to see what happens:)

EK! FINALLY! I've been waiting so long, and you haven\t disappointed. That was REALLY good. Amazing even! Your portrayal of Charlie is very good. You don't make him seem like some romantic lover boy, you've got the essence of a coldblooded killer that's been rattled up by some girl. It works well. Anyways, I can't wait for the next one!

This story really has me hooked more with every chapter. Please update soon, I want to see what Ben has in mind!
