I'd be interesting in a showdown between Charlie and the deputy...they both are people very prone to anger/snapping and I think some great tension could be played out there. I also agree with another reviewer that Charlie may be coming across as a bit too controlled and relaxed. He's playing a role to get through the few days he's in town, true, but he's also an extremely violent person, prone to outbursts, and basically sociopathic - I doubt he'd be able to keep all of these natural traits suppressed successfully. Good job! Continue! |

I know he's trying hard to keep a facade in order to refrain from trouble, but I believe he would slip at times, and that you can't really 'stop' being a sociopath... He's also a violent person. Can't wait for the next chapter. =] |

He is so believable and I absolutely love him. Sara is nice too, kind of vulnerable and strong at the same time. 'Charlie spent the rest of the evening looking out of the small window in the kitchen' - OMG, how I loved this line! As if you portay it with so few words and I can literrally see Charlie looking out there in the distance...think it fits him perfectly:-) Please please write more soon, already can`t wait:-) |
