Maybe you can make a AU where Tenchi and Dark Knight wen up in the Farscape Universe by accident,they appear a few days after John gos into the Wormhold,Tenchi still save Earth.

So wen John comes back at the end of Unrealized reality,he is faces with a Earth with Space tech and more tolerant to aliens.
