Are you sure this is fanfiction, and not the script for an unaired episode? ^__^ I liked it being from first the store owner's POV, and then as soon as Fuu was the one being targeted it switched to hers. Those are the dangers of conscripts, I suppose! XD

I like! I like very much! It was sweet and true to Mugen's character. You described him very accurately and without cliches. Nicely done!

lol I can totally see Mugen and Jin doing that. One question remains, though: How did Fuu sneak all that food out?

As ever, this is in keeping with the characters' personalities and the overall gist of the show (though whether that's a good thing or not, I'm not sure ^^'). Did you ever tell me before that you've seen Samurai Champloo? 'Cause I don't remember thinking that you would've watched something like that. I was almost surprised at myself for watching it ^^' I rather liked it, though you have to understand that I didn't actually see the whole thing (my brother hand-picked the better episodes for me). And I've always liked the odd friendship Mugen, Jin, and Fuu share. You've captured it perfectly, like always.
This one made me laugh ^_^

Muwahahaha! Great! The only line I saw that needed fixing was: "What sort of traveller ordered sake on an obviously empty stomach." Traveler only has one "L" and it needs a period.

Those two boys. It reminds me of a trailer I once saw of this series: "This is a tail about strength, courage, and friendship. Yeah right!" *snickers*
