I fairly LOVE this story!

I love when we see Sesshoumaru drawing strength from Rin, and when it is Rin who makes him see his own power and worth.

I know you wrote this when you had not yet read or seen "The Hell Arc", but it amazes me how SPOT ON you were... In "The Hell Arc", Sesshoumaru saves Kohaku by grabbing him up in his one arm and then scolding him, telling him not to make Sesshoumaru waste time unnecessarily, and says "This arm... was only meant to hold a sword!
Shortly thereafter when Rin dies a second time, he DROPS that sword, cursing it as worthless, and instead uses his arm to HOLD RIN, stating that "I let you die for this thing (powering up his sword). NOTHING COULD EVER BE WORTH THE COST OF RIN'S LIFE!" and resolutely carrying Rin back to the living world saying, "Rin, I'M BRINGING YOU BACK!
His mother then brings the girl back to life, where he could not, and tells him that Rin's death taught him the WORTH of a life, and saying "When you wish to save your beloved's life, your heart must also feel sadness and fear at losing that precious person... All this fuss over one human girl? You have become the same as your father in the strangest way.
You completely NAILED his feelings about his arm and using it for a sword, but ultimately choosing to use it for holding Rin instead...
I'm so impressed with this, and I SINCERELY hope that you'll continue to write Sess/Rin on occasion.

I'm off to read some of your Vampire Knight stuff now.

I loved how Kagome told Inuyasha why she loved him and how much this affected him. The SanMir thing where Sango allowed Miroku to grope her because it made her feel wanted and how he said he loved her was so sweet. And the SessRin was really sweet and I liked how Sesshomaru almost feels unworthy of Rin but Rin stops this.

Oh my God! Your fic actually made me tear up! Why haven't I read this before? I especially loved your SangoxMiroku and SessxRin pieces.
The ideas were just so beautiful and original and you pulled them off perfectly! Rin makes Sess complete! It was such a lovely idea that by the end I went into mush mode (I'm a sensitive little thing). The way Inu was distracted by Kagome was ace! It had me giggling as well as pleasantly fuzzy and warm inside).

I always loved the Kagome/Shippo relationship. They not only have a strong Mother/child bond but also an amazingly strong friendship. When things get messy, they are always partnered together. They are always found in the rear, away from the main action, and supposedly safer. We both know that when they are in the back while the others are in the middle of a heated battle that only means that either Kagome or Shippo will either get hurt or kidnapped. I loved this chapter and it didn't hold one ounce of OOC. On to the next!

I always thought that it was kinda funny that when she kissed him, their mouths were like complete opposites in size. His mouth was huge with fangs and lips and growls, and hers was so small that when she did kiss him it was just on his top lip and only in one place. But if you take the endding of the movie into account then the kiss worked out well enough. I don't think that Kagome was too OOC, but to be honest I think Inuyasha was. I just don't see him letting her get all touchy-feely with him and not doing anything more than blushing. He would be yelling at her then running off to find a cold stream. BUT, it is by far, one of the best OOC fics that I have read, and that is saying something since it was Inuyasha fanfiction that sucked me into the joys of internet. This is one of the few fics that does have some minor elemens of OOC but still remains faithful the the true essence of the character underneath. So on the the next chapter.
