 Daxnassrac 2009-06-15 . chapter 1BEAUTIFUL!
I love the vocabulary you used in this. It's a simply stunning piece of work, really. Most of the time when authors include flashbacks from the series, they just tell it word for word, no emotion. This, this was lovely, I felt like I was really there. |
Jen23 2008-02-14 . chapter 1This was another sad yet beautiful piece of work; Saya and Haji on the beach where he took her. There are so many loses causing her so much pain, and I'm glad that Haji is there for her. Even though everything is not her fault, she is suffering from so much guilt since she belives everything happened because of her. I liked the way this ended; the way Haji got her to rest. Great job! |
RedLion2 2008-02-13 . chapter 1Wow. You know, I sometimes think you can't get any better than what you last wrote, and then you go and write something like this! Doesn't every girl want her very own Haji? I love how you've done this first person from Saya's perspective. It goes perfectly with the one written from Haji's.
Placing the scene at the beach is perfect. The water in the background is both soothing and haunting, for both Saya and the reader. I can only imagine the grief that Saya must carry for all those lost...
Awesome. |
 SheDevil85 2008-02-13 . chapter 1Aw that was very sweet. ^_^ |
 MaryxSKEETSKEET 2008-02-12 . chapter 1I love it! |
Summer39 2008-02-12 . chapter 1This was so incredibly touching and heartbreaking. Saya has endured so much pain, watching those she loved die and, in turn, blaming herself for their demise. This makes her existence in this world even more difficult to fathom-she must ask herself at every waking moment "Why must I live to see another day?" And Haji, being her protector, sensing Saya's suffering and inner turmoil, watch the woman that he loves consumed with so much pain-trying to comfort her in the only way that he knows how yet still ever distant. The ending, as sweet as it was, can never make up for the loss of loved ones-but at least it was offered to soothe a wounded soul. Deeply moving my friend. |
