The last line really makes it a Dilandau poem. ;; I think it's very in-character, and describes Dilandau's way of thinking toward his men very well...he prefers to think he doesn't need them, but he's really afraid of being all alone.

Oh, and I like your rhyme-scheme, too! Nice to see some good fan-poetry, which is something I haven't read in awhile.

Heh, the last line really gives the whole thing a different meaning. "I deal with you because I have to... *sneer* " and yet it's "Don't you _ever_ leave me alone."

i love it! you did such a good job of describing how dilly feels about his dragon slayers and how he acts like he hates them, but he really just loves em and takes comfort in thier loyalty... keep up the good work!
