I know it's implied that Link will fight it out alone but I can't help but feeling that Ruby will somehow be involved with the big battle with Volvagia. Well, until next chapter...

^I thought that was an amusing line because Californians are always stereotyped as fit people who run everywhere and buy all their food at a natural foods market. I know that's not true though.

It seems odd that the Ruby character is going into battle with lack of experience in the matter. I would figure she'd be a little gun shy after getting hurt by Gannon or at least you throw in Ruby training or something because it seems odd Link is trusting her to defeat two ghosts in her first battle ever and especially so after his little remark about Ruby being out of shape. I'm sure there's an explanation for it that I'm not seeing. Other than that dangling thought where the suspension of disbelief failed to suspend, I feel you wrote a good chapter and I can see your writing has improved. *thumbs up or as you put it d>w

Yeah, the spacing is better than before. One part of the chapter seemed out of place and it's the second to the last paragraph where you describe the Kokiri Forest. Instead of telling, perhaps you could've shown the Kokiri (such as Link and Ruby interacting with him either in this chapter or the next) and having the two confront the deku baba and having Link mention this fact in battle or something. Otherwise that paragraph seems out of place with the rest of the chapter. Anyway, I'm glad to see you were able to determine what will happen next (you mentioned you had some problems with that). And after watching a bunch of Zelda CD-i poop on Youtube in the past week, I'm using that as my basis for why I agree that Zelda doesn't deserve Link (she refused to kiss him after saving her life from Ganon in that game. One more thing, do you have a crush on Link or something becuase you seem to want him to fall for you?

Interesting storyline though. One other thing. Lack of scenery such as what the Castle looked like inside or the room Ruby was in when she was prisoner. All I read was the four poster bed.

If those kirksn kinks could be worked out then this will be good I gurantee it. Please no perfect Mary Sues here.

Only one thing. Too fast paced. Not enough character dialoge.
