I loved this! I liked how Banji insisted on cursing Sengoku when he mentioned luck. This story was really deep and captures Banji's thoughts on Akutsu and Sengoku really well. Virtual cookies and milk for you! ^^

Earlier (about 2, almost 3 months ago), you sent me a PM asking me to review after I put this story onto my favorites list. I apologize that it took me so long to find time to do so.

I liked the distant emotion and the eloquent words that are so ubiquitous in this story, and I particularily enjoyed the way that you phrased many things, such as "sweet taste of close-grasping victory was replaced with the bitter taste of defeat" or "a heart-warming, sentimental type of guy, who breathed tennis like oxygen."

I also enjoyed how you showed the conflicting feelings of Banji, who wanted the victory of Yamabuki, but also the victory of Sengoku himself, and how he often cursed himself for using the word 'lucky.'

All in all, this was one of the best oneshots that I have ever read. Good job! ^_^

That was one beautiful fic! I love the way you (or Banji, in the story) describe them so perfectly..

I agree, Akutsu and Sengoku are two great characters with strong and interesting personalities but are often ignored by the more famous characters.. It was very sad, because as you've said, they have as much potential as the others to become great tennis players.. They just don't get as much appreciation as the others does..

I'm glad to find gems like this in a yaoi-filled fandom of PoT.. (-,-)v

*faving*

I love how you described the two in Banji's point of view. Akutsu really would have been a great player, and Sengoku is never one to be underestimated. You've captured the two boys very well. *grins*

And rarely does anyone write about them this way.

That was perfect. There really are no other words to describe it. I loved Banji's perception of Sengoku and Akutsu here and his desire for both of them to rise to the potential. Very well done. The chose of words helped to keep everything moving. Well written and enjoyable!
