Your pushing daisies stories are really good because I'm a total NOlive shipper but why-o-why do they never properly get coupled up in your stories, Olive never gets the happiness she so deserves :)

My favorite line "As the thirty-nine minutes became forty, the young boy realized that he did not like holiday-themed treats."

However using the exact age thing down to the minute twice in the story was a little bit much.

Great style, truly Pushing Daisies.

Okay;; seriously? You were thinking of TRASHING THIS? This is AH-MAZING. Seriously. You should make like... a part 2 to this and tell what happened the next day. I hate (yet love) stories that have endings like this.

So basically, I loved it, it's perfect, and I hope you consider a part 2. )

O my gosh. I LOVE YOU I LOVE YOU I LOVE YOU!

*I also love Ned/Olive.* _

She may have been the president (and only member) of the “I Hate Chuck and Ned and Their Bliss” club - Not true. I'm in it. lol

When I was reading this, I almost cried, just to let you know. It was so well-written and... true to life. I definately relate to Olive.

I can't wait for more!

Dude, I am SO glad you posted this on here! I first read it on Live Journal and was desperate to find more PD fics so I came here. And now I find you! YAY! I figured I’d post a review on the site I write on, as well. Now I can favourite it! So yeah. First reviewer said it best. You're so good it's ridiculous. I love you for not giving Ned and Olive a random Hollywood ending. That's what I would have done. But this is so much better. So like the show, sad and funny and real and moving.

At the same time, I must ask you to write something where Ned and Olive finally DO get together because it's looking like that'll never going to happen in the show! Unless Chuck dies. Which I'm totally fine with.

I can't put it better than the first review, so simply the perfect balance and wonderful. Hopefully it's not a one shot!

I can't even believe you were thinking of trashing this. This fic is wonderful. Seriously, it really is. I love how once again, you manage to mix humor with angst and things more serious. Simply put, it's that combination that makes the entire work seem incredibly realistic. There's nothing falsely oversentimental about it; Ned doesn't suddenly realize his love for Olive, and Olive doesn't randomly decide to slit her wrists, because he doesn't profess his feelings. The sadder parts you've written are tempered by the humorous stuff, much in the way the actual show does. And the overall feel is something incredibly light to read. But it never feels meaningless or fluffy or stupid or forced.

Actually, this is something I could totally see happening on the show. You definitely have the narration down pat. But also, it's more than that. The scenes with Ned at school are so... wonderful. It's almost Dickensian how overly miserable Valentine's Day is for Ned. The scenes make me laugh, even though it's definitely sad. And it's definitely over the top but in a good way, because it's incredibly believable for the show.

More than that, I think you've managed to capture Olive perfectly. I love that she made Ned the pie and tried to blame it on Digby. I appreciate how you give her a full range of emotions in that scene. And I truly respect that you don't have her confessing her love for him at the end.

You showed considerable restraint while writing this, because I think the tendency would be to make this incredibly sugary sweet. This isn't like that at all, and that's what makes it perfect. :-) Great job!
