Great freakin story! I love it. So Yami was a Rusalka...interesting. Now I have a question. Why did Yami kill him? So he wouldn't forget him? Or did he have to cause he's one of those nymphs that suck the life out of people?

WHOA! I was SO not expecting that! He killed him! So of course he wont forget him, cause he aint going anywhere!! I guess he had a good reason to be afraid of the water! In trying to overcome his fear he just ended up dying!...very nicely written tho! i found it very interesting and sweet...in a twisted kind of way i guess...was he just trying to lure Yugi there the whole time? crepy...

I once read a manga (Angel Diary) that had something similar to this in it...This water-lady-thing fell in love with this human and they lived happily for a while before she accidently dragged him underwater promising to love him and drowned him...she didn't even realise he was dead, she just thought he was 'sick'...poor girl. D:
And poor Yuugi! Atem drownedededed him...even if he didn't mean to.
...Is Atem going to keep his body?
...What if he molesteseses Yuugi's body!! o.o;

I'm very impressed with this. Only one question: what made Yami become a Rusalka? I mean, people usually turn into them when they die too soon right? You should write another explaining what made Yami become a Rusalka. Anyway, the ending left me breatheless. I'm more of a happy ending kinda moment but yours was very refreshing and I enjoyed almost more than other happy endings! I also like the fact that this is for Valentine's Day. This about sums up my thoughts of Valentine's. ^^ Thank you for the great story and inspiration.

Wonderful story, very well-written as well.
I also liked how you expressed Yuugi's death, even though it was kind of sad, I still liked it.
Although, I'm just curious, so if you don't mind me asking, did this nameless water creature mean to kill Yuugi so that he would never be forgotten, or was this one of those creatures that sucks the life-force out of you, or what?
I suppose Yuugi shouldn't of said that he didn't want to leave the water creature, because I think he may have taken it a little too literally.
Wow, that was some twisted humor right there, I think this angst is screwing with my mind. But, other-wise, good job. Can't wait to check out the rest of your stories.

This story is so creepy. I thought it was going to be a nice fluffy story but then WOAH! I like it though it a very creepy kinda way. It definitely wasn't what I expected.

A well written story, but the ending was kind of depressing.
Poor Yugi; he gets to stay with his aquatic lover, but love isn't much fun when you're dead.

That... was incredibly depressing. So, what was Yami? A water nymph or something? ;__; This is such a tragic love story. I feel bad for the two. Great story though, even if it depressed me to no end. lol, I'm more of a happy ending kind of person.
