| purple-goose 2008-02-15 ch 1, | abuseI really liked this. I liked it for two reasons and the first one being because I wanted a new Sayid story after the episode last night and here it is! Then I liked it because it's good, Nicely constructed, delightfully insightful, I can see Sayid here. I much like 'to his days in this walking prison' - a very good summation of how his life appeared off the island. Interesting how when he considers sex with Elsa, he sees himself in the role of a gentleman, and by extension, Elsa becomes a lady. If she is not a lady, she wouldn't know what to expect from a gentleman. Then the savage descriptions that I will admit to skimming as they made me very uncomfortable (how do you know these things??) contrasted to that of gentleman. Shocking. Really. Very good at illustrating the depths of despair this (beautiful) man is experiencing. Very good story with perfect timing. Wow. Thank you! |
