Oh, the rich irony...
Zuko's all like "I not going to fail I am not going to fail." Then BANG! all of the sudden Mai has him pinned to a column. I found the irony so amusing that I cracked up for two minutes straight! And I still crack up when I read it!

Good job on keeping the characters well,... like the characters and keep up the good work.

Maiko For-ever! I really enjoyed this! I've wanted to read a story where Zuko n thre Avatar invade agin and convince Mai to join them but I never found a good story, until now. Very into character n very enjoyeble.

The description in this story was great, and you captured their personalities extremely well. It didn't seem sappy, but you wrote the romance perfectly.

Hmm, I think Azula stole the letter, too. She does seem like the type to mess with her big brother's relationships. xD

I've had the same idea with Mai never getting Zuko's letter, and then her being extremely mad at him. Nothing in Avatar is ever that easy.

Excellent story. Yeah I can see Azula stealing the letter too that'd be just so her. I'm glad that I'm not the only one that thinks that Mai is not an emotionless blob and it has been shown that Zuko cares for her in the show.

Surprisingly, i actually liked this, i dont normally enjoy Maiko stories. I love the name Maiko, it is the name for an apprentice Geisha in japanese!

Aww...So cute. Funny, though, I've had similar thoughts running through my head, though I'm not sure if I would wind up articulating them in the same way. But your story's really good; it would be nice if there was a little more, but you only get what the plot bunnies give you.
