He was a bit sadistic... It all comes together well, and since I'm a sucker for comeuppance, I really did like it. The only thing I didn't like was pacing. I thought it was shorter than it should have been. And considering that you can write very well, I wouldn't have minded it being longer at all.

Zelgadiss is perhaps a little more ruthless than he usually is, but his characterization was convincing given the circumstances. You did a great job of keeping Lina in character, as well as providing a believable premise for the story -I could really see a scenario like this happening. All and all, a well-written piece!

This is really so black and sad... I kind of expected Lina to interfere while reading it, from the start. The thought of burning to death or choking in smoke is horrible. You really did a good job ;_;
