Your fic isn't that bad. I've seen a lot worse (let me tell you...). That doesn't mean there isn't room for improvement.

I think the biggest things, that I see, that need work in your fics are your grammer and your word choice. Why to work on grammer is a no-brainer; it just makes your writing look shoddy when it isn't perfect or nearly perfect. Word choice influences the entire affect of your piece and can make it either great or run-of-the-mill.

EX: "He started telling me all the advantages I would have being a Hyuuga member..."

It is obvious what you are trying to convey. However, your word choice brings to mind a sales associate at Circuit City trying to convince you to join their buyer's club.

Fixing word choice is by far tougher than fixing grammer. The only suggestion I can think of to help you with that is to get a Beta. Another set of eyes will be able to pick up on subtleties that you might miss.

this was another great installment. i love neji's first relization that there are other people in the world that have bad days. i got a little confused on the time frame. but i caught up. i look forward to what situation you put them in next. first a broken marriage, then a slowly developing relationship, next childbirth? first lemon enocounter? can't wait.

I like this fic but I'm wondering. Is it a series of one-shots or a continuous fic ?

yes, i would like to know what neji thinks. since we only have sakura's opinion, have we missed something? did she miss something? did at one point he try to reach out, but she missed it while wallowing in her own self pity? hm. anyway, i thought this was a very good first installment of your one shots. how could you not feel for her. no one deserves to be in a loveless relationship, but alas there are plenty of people out there that feel just like sakura.

can't wait to see what you have planned next.
