It's funny how the majority of fan fic authors who write in canon sorta... we write under the assumption that we want Troy and Gabriella to be real and in which case they would have progressed with their physical relationship sooner. This is like... if Disney were to ever actually imply that sex has taken place within canon, this is how it would happen. Right here in this place within the trilogy of movies, right in this way. I couldn't see it happening any differently if taking the movies at face value. Really beautiful. :-)
