I'm reviewing for this chapter cause I says I've already reviewed for chapters 12 up. I LOVED chapter 14 the sexual tension was like whoa hello! Thats why I think I love this story so much the UST is so extreme you can't wait for the smut (even thou I know smut can't be posted at fanfiction anymore) Anyway, I hope you do end up doing another chapter!

You've put a lot of thought into this chapter, I can tell!
Good detail, dialogue. We get the impression they are having fun.

Is she going to make a move on him next? You do have to advance the plot at some point, though.

After such a long wait between chapters, it feels like we're in a holding pattern. I think things are building up towards some kind of big event, but we've stopped to pick up all these individual threads first. I would have liked to see some more Ashley/Deck interaction, but in the meantime, this chapter had some interesting insights into the Renfro character.

Good to see this story back again! Great characterization of Renfro and her desires for control. Love the way she sulks over Lydecker's refusal to address her with the respect she wants. And this new development, that the Oregon project may have been compromised from within, is very interesting. Keep going!

The double meaning of the Ashley-Lydecker conversation is great! "Am I moving too fast?"Don't stop, please!" LOL! Good to see Deck using his wiles on Ashley in more ways than one. I wonder if he realizes what he's doing ... or whether his other motivations will come as a shock to him later on.

Ahhh...some memories, at last. And I lie on 'Deck's part when he told her he was there to meet her. With Major Kerwin and his mystery meeting and things heating up even more between Ashley and 'Deck this is getting more intriguing all the time. But these long waits between chapters are killing me. Is there even a remote chance of getting the next chapter any time soon?

This storm is an interesting development. Nice change the forces of nature hardly ever play a role in DA. It's always about human choice and control. And speaking of forces of nature the best part of this is the way Ashley and Lydecker consciously manipulate their own behavior to hide their true feelings and motivations, and to affect the other person in certain ways. They are quite a pair. Post the next chapter soon!

You certainly seem to have quite an affection for the Lydecker character, because I don't think I've read any other story that imbues him with so much sex appeal. While I don't look at the character in quite that way, I have missed seeing him on the show since he went missing in Proof of Purchase. Reading this story is like meeting an old friend/adversary/ally again. As always, I really enjoyed the Deck/Ashley interaction in this chapter. He's proving himself to be a master at handling people, whether they be soldiers under his command or beautiful women. But I also have to commend you for your deft handling of the intrigue in this story. All the plot twists and turns certainly make it a very fascinating read. Keep up the good work and post the next chapter soon.
