2008-10-21 . chapter 1
"It had become more and more apparent to the both of them exactly why Tseng told them they reminded him of an old married couple. Rude had said that this was a cliché, and that Tseng should really brush up on his creativity. Reno had helped himself to a few drinks at this point in the conversation and had tried to kiss the big, bald man. A minute or so later, Rude asked his Wutain captain how often old married men threw old married women out two-storey windows. Tseng had given him “that look” and rushed downstairs."

Six years? Wow, Re. (Actually, me too. Yikes.) That said, this had me in snickers all the way through, and you bet I'll be checking snowy trees for Turks the next few times I go skiing. Reno's reason for visiting Icicle sounds like some of my compatriots out here in Japan, which is... well, we'll go with amusing.
.
The details herein are awesome - hotbullets, the Mako sideeffects, the sly humour, a Tseng that is not coldly perfect - but I really like your Rude best, and humbly hope you'll write him more often.
.
Hope you're well; take care, and cheers~

The fic is good. Just your style of tongue-in-cheek, black humour, witty banter interspliced with amusing flashbacks. I also caught the consistency from your other fics - Reno being from Mideel and Rude being unable more than unwilling to speak. Caught a couple grammar issues, but who really cares about those?

If this isn't the most excellent written piece I've ever read, I don't know what is. The way you worded things.. So concrete. So timely. So perfectly fitting. And your dialogue is absolutely snappy. I really enjoyed the read. :)
