I just re read this and loved it as much this time as the first. I wondered... it is not marked as complete. Is it? It is hard to tell if you meant to end it with that vague friendship and Snape and Lucius' self discovery or if there was going to be a HG/SS romance involved. Also Hermione and Lucius never really did enact a plan regarding her career at the ministry yet either...
Guh! That is what is so bad about stories that suck me in so well! I really wonder about the characters lives and interactions because the author has fleshed them out and made it real.

Anyway, I'd sure love to know if there is going to be more, this is a great sory!

Lovely story, laughed out loud in places which is not like me. Spot on with the characterisations - snide Snape, gormless Ronald, unnecessarily noble Harry...

Magnificently maudlin, but I also liked that glimpse of hope at the end. I'm favoring an eventual Snape/Hermione romance, but it's really up to you in the end!

i like this story very much!
i think its still cute, even though the main characters are suffering and all...but maybe its because of it...;-)
they have much deeper and more complex personalities than in the books...or so it seems to me (its been some time since i read the books last..;-))
i hope you update soon...and im hoping for a bit of romance;-)

You, my dear, have a fine sense of humor. I've never been fond of the whole Hermione with anyone not in her age range, but you make them... really... funny.

Anyways, keep writing. Reading each chapter brings me joy.

that scene with the oysters was probably one of the funniest things I've read. What excellent writing. I'm posting my first fic in a day or two so yours is inspiring me!

BTW: a good cognac I could appreciate at 21; it was my fav drink. Really good cheese -- now that took longer, into my 30's I think. But it's my fav 'afters.'
