There was a moment in the last episode - when Danny cracked a joke at the crime scene and Lindsay half-smiled at him - that made me think that something was 'off' between them. Sorry if this sounds random but the way Lindsay's smile was sort of half-hearted (in my opinion) really stuck with me so your story came at just the rigth time. I'm not sure what inspired your story but it was as if you were reading my mind! Like any normal couple, Danny and Lindsay will fight and I really like the way you have written them dealing with those fights - Lindsay acting like nothing is wrong, Danny fighting his attraction. I love the way they make up by wordlessly sharing a muffin - a very 'D/L' way to make up. The locker room scene was beautiful - tense but heartwarming. If Danny and Lindsay are anything it's resilient and I think your story captures that perfectly. Great job! |
