Fantastic!

I was a little wary of a DW/YW crossover, simply because crossovers are pretty hard to pull off, but this was brilliant. For some concrit, I feel like maaaybe you could have drawn it out a little more, slowed the pace down a bit and went into some details. The perspective jumped around a bit; for being mostly from Dairine's point of view, it would randomly jump to Rose, and the transition was kinda jarring.

Overall though, this was great. Crossovers are difficult, and you pulled it off very well. I'm really only able to think of that mysterious man as the Doctor now, and the world of Young Wizards meshes very well with Doctor Who. Very nice!

I first read the YW series when I was twelve, and had JUST discovered the miracle that is the Doctor at around the same time. Needless to say, I had this EXACT thought when I got to the scene in which the stranger assisted Dairine. It was just exactly the sort of thing that the Doctor would do.

And this... I just love every single thing about this. It's brilliant and sparkling and it reinforces, once again, how pale a companion Rose is in comparison to certain others (Donna, Dairine, Romana, and other gingers). Thank you a million, zillion, squillion times for writing it, because the Whoniverse and the YWverse mesh so well... and seeing the Doctor conversing with a practical human equal is BRILLIANT. I love it so much it's almost illegal.

I always knew the man who helped her was the Doctor, even when I first read those books more years ago than I'm willing to mention.

It's good to see them both get some closure.

1. Oh my god, its so good! needs to be contiued.

2. "the Doctor didn't seem to care." he typically dosen't now does he?

3. "We are at the Crossings Intercontinual Worldgating Facility, on the Sagittarius Arm of the Milky Way Galaxy. You're a long way from home." He actually landed where he wanted to? thats a change of pace, but i suppose it's got to happen every now and then.

That makes such perfect sense it's almost crazy to think I didn't realize it. In fact I'd completely forgotten about that scene until now.

You get so many points for that. So. Many. Points. I sort of always hoped that someone would write a story like this, and having the man that helped Dairine be the Doctor is just fantastic. Thank you for the story.

I've read the begging of High Wizardry a couple of times. And you. Are. Awesome. My name came from a Star Trek book by Diane. They played a hologram of eiether 4 or 5. No wonder I'm such a geek.

I was apprehensive at the thought of a Doctor Who/YW combination, but you pulled it off brilliantly. I would never have been able to make the merge realistic, as you did. The only awkward part was Dairine not connecting the "little ginger girl" with herself sooner. It seemed a tad OC; she is very smart, after all. This is probably my favorite piece of fan fiction. Most make me wince, but this one made me smile.

Oh, this was amazing. I absolutely adore the idea of the two universes being the same, and this is a great way of their paths crossing. I always knew there was a reason I liked Five the best of the Old Doctors, but it took quite a while to realize that he was Dairine's saviour. Everyone was very IC. A lovely, refreshing story that was a delight to read! If you ever wanted to write another DW/YW crossover, I'd be very happy.

Hm... I love Doctor Who, but have only seen, like, five episodes. I really wish I knew more, but your fic was easy to understand anyway. God work! *Wanders off to go and rent the seasons of DW.*

This is priceless. I love the Doctor. Have to say, quite well done, wish there was more, but all in all this wraps up pretty neatly.
