Dark Nternal 9/5/03 . chapter 8
Great story, those two words are few of the ways to describe it, well done. I wonder if you intend to continue this story, perhaps make a sequel of some sort?

Okay,

So i'd like to make a long detailed review talking about everything I enjoyed in this story... but... I'm incoherent as per usual.

Instead I'm just gonna tell you how much I enjoyed this, it was well written, and at one stage I thought Renfro was going to molest him... which added a whole nother dimension to my reading.

Anyways... I'm off to peruse some more fic.

This is an excellent story.
You made some great choices in terms of cast/plot/setting, and it's a good solo adventure for Logan. I'm glad Max doesn't show up to save the day.

The fact that Logan is a person with a disability colours the entire story, and provides all kinds of food for thought (esp. re. the morality of genetic tampering). It was such a cheap cop out when they 'cured' him on the show.
Good work with the accesibility details. Nice development of Renfro Lydecker. Good solid SF story. Thanks for writing it.

Great fic. A little puzzling that Max didn't burst in, saving the day, but it was a great fic. I loved the Lydecker/Logan/Renfro interaction. I don't know why but I thought it was absolutely hilarious. Great job.

More of L&L, Hooray! Go, Logan, go!"You don't know half of it, son." Guess, that's where Deck is wrong, isn't he? And the 'Bride of Mengele'... exactly.
Moria Polonius 5/15/02 . chapter 5
I love all those comments Lydecker makes about his boss. Logan and Lydecker duo all the way! And Renfro's really a bitch.
Moria Polonius 5/15/02 . chapter 3
Lydecker was *so* happy to have Logan as his lab rat. Comparing his thougts to Renfro's from the last chapter this was so perfect!
Moria Polonius 5/15/02 . chapter 2
I coldnt help but laugh at Renfro's last lines. What more Lydecker could wish for? An enraged Max on his back? Great story for now.

Loved this story. Logan at his feisty best, Refro oozing nastyness, and Lydecker as enigmatic as ever.
gilenagile 4/16/02 . chapter 1
What a great portrayal of Renfro: Talon-like nails, anthracite eyes, examining the oranges "...as if she were preparing to dissect one." Got me hooked yet again.

Catherder, I've just gone back and read this story again and wanted to tell you once more (officially for all to see) how much I enjoyed it. My favourite DA episodes are, for the most part, Logan Cale Man of Action (Prodigy, Haven), and this is as good as, or ever better. Certainly the reluctant partnership of Deck and Logan against the Ice Maiden Renfro is a highlight. You can feel Deck restraining himself from laughter. I also like that you have made allowance for a possible sequel, and I really look forward to that. Keep it coming.

Wow, what a great story. I usually read longer fics, but I am really glad I decided to read this one. I really liked the escape and the ending. Lots of possibility for a sequel!

this is great- are you going to write an epiloge? What did Max do when she found Logan was missing? Or Bling? It was a brilliant story, but some closure would be good.

You are a piece of work Kathleen Norvell! I know we've talked about this chapter before but I wanted to tell you again how awesome it is.

The excitement was absolutely palpable. The opening has great punch and it just builds with each action scene. You've got half a dozen ups and downs which is excellent. Using the basketball reference to showcase Logan's skills was inspired. Lydecker's 'piece of work' reaction was brilliant. The ease with which Lydecker retrieved Logan's car was a wonderful surprise but perfectly explained by Lydecker's "Idiots left the keys" comment. Despite the brilliant brains that work at Manticore their security forces certainly have their keystone cops moments. The final blowup with

Renfro is priceless. It was full of great lines."Lydecker put his gun back in its holster. He said

calmly, “That may be so, but he’s apparently a very smart cripple in a wheelchair.” He wanted to laugh at her, but his military training kicked in and he restrained himself." That short comment says so much about Renfo, Logan and Lydecker. “Pour yourself a good stiff drink, Elizabeth, and forget about the one that got away.”I love this line especially Lydecker's use of Renfro's first name. It is so condescending! It shows exactly what he thinks of her. And the note at the end. Perfect.
