Awesome chapter. Very well written. Poor Miroku, always the loafer and groper. But I guess it's his destiny. LOL It's a wonder he's not part canine. He's like a lost puppy searching for love. LOL

I love how Miroku tuned out Tomita. Believable and highly amusing! I'm glad you're going to continue this story thus far. I'm still chuckling over the date with Jakotsu. .

Haha, I love how you have Miroku speaking in all of those innuendos...so him. And Oh God, the re-canting of his blind date with Kagome was hilarious. And another Oh God for him getting pulled into her grandfather's scheming. I cannot wait to see what antics will ensue in later chapters. This fic is already so funny, and it's only the second chapter! I really love that it's written really well, too. That just makes everything ten times better, lol. You've also got a great writing style.

The ending of this chapter was too funny. Kagome's wrath, heh. I can't wait to see what happens between Inuyasha and Kagome. I'm jumping up and down with anticipation (Metaphorically, of course.). Looking forward to more updates!

Pity, I was so hoping it would be Sango. Oh well, as long as she's not part of any love triangle involving Inuyasha and Kagome I don't really mind Kikyou's character. Her perspective can be interesting at times, if a bit cold. It makes a good counterpoint to Kagome's in many ways; they might both be good at heart, but Kikyou has none of Kagome's ability to connect with others; as easily as I'm sure she could understand their pain and its sources I doubt she would be much of a comfort. The flashback with Miroku was great by the way. Nice bit of amusement to keep the reading interesting while the plot is still being grounded. I can't wait to find out how Inuyasha and Kagome will be convinced to go on the date! This should be very entertaining...

Oh, my, this could be bad. If things work out, the matchmakers might get off without too much trouble. If they don't, or even don't look like it though...

The only time I was on the receiving end of a matchmaking attempt was the summer I was in Japan. I didn't realize it at the time, though. Still, if I'd been going to be there for an extended period of time, it might have had a chance. The way it was, it made for an interesting evening with older people and the girl who was as set up as I was.

oh, okay, setup, setup is good. No really, it is, the story's going well, its necessary. And I'm vastly satisfied by Kikyo and her role, especially towards her; most people either put her in one extreme or another, a lover or an enemy to the IK couple, and don't know how to write her otherwise. Can't wait to see what else you've got planned...oh, yeah, and also how Sango will enter the story... [p.s., the first-date flashback with Miroku was HILARIOUS, omg. xD]

Another good chapter. The part about how Kagome and Miroku's first date ended was hilarious; I really liked that, lol. And it explains a lot about what type of girl Kagome is. She will not let anybody run over her, to put it mildly. And if Kaede and Kikyo's discussion of Inuyasha was any indication, Kagome is going to need her spunk. Man, it's going to be fun when those two clash, lol. I look forward to it.
