This was beautiful; you captured their characters perfectly; the idea that Squall wouldn't sleep that night if Rinoa kept talking about dying was perfect. He's probably always going to have some fear of losing Rinoa after letting her so close. I also liked the part about him being fascinated that her hands could be so gentle, while his are so calloused.

mysterious...haunting, even, but well-written. Good work!

Blood Lady

This is /absolutely/ gorgeous. You seem to have a keen ear for dialogue and characterization; Rinoa is spot-on and your portrayal of Squall is absolutely lovely. There are some excellent turns of phrase -- "petals fairer still against her hands", "overgrown with wild flowers in pastels..." -- and I love the contrast of her hands versus his presented at the beginning.

Your pieces are always interesting. And I also liked this one. It was very touching, and your description of emotions are right on the spot.

Oh... That wasn't very comfortable.

Like the constant theme of the daisy chain - linked the whole thing nicely. Get it? 'Chain', 'link', eh, eh?

Anyway... Great piece. Nice emotions. Very believable.

Another nice one-shot! Interesting in present-tense format. I thought the ending seemed a bit abrupt? Nice description about Squall's feelings towards Rinoa. =)

Dayum. This is very poignant and one could definitely feel the emotions, raw and palpable, in here.

ALTHOUGH. I would never be a fan of Squall/Rinoa.
