BonesDBchippie 2008-07-30 ch 9,	abuseGP~ YEAH, yeah! I'm WAY far behind and R.L. is kick'n my @ss!! But I decided I needed to push myself to reconnect with some of my fics I've missed SO much!! --I think I'm caught up with ABC Soup but I'll check :} This is pretty much going to encompass the last 5 chaps so bear with me [I'm too lazy to review each chapter! lol!] 5: I absolutely adored the "angry-tension party of two" you built!! OH my-my-my!! Brennan certainly didn't back down from the 'emotions' argument one teeny-weeny bit! It was rather refreshing to see her jump in with both feet! Not to mention give'n Noor a healthy dose of verbal-*-slap'n!! You definitely had valid points on both sides of the B&B debate table and it got a little ugly there for a bit but I lov'd the way it ALL fit together like a haphazard puzzle! LOL! [I have to tell you who I have this mental picture of Noor looking like: a very young Shohreh Aghdashloo. She played the Dr. in The Lake House, also in 2nd X-Men movie +lots other stuff--IMDB her and you'll see her pic]. OH the threats?-promises?-prove it's! Oh my!!shivers!! 6: AND lied you did! Grr! But alas you made it pretty steamy and I survived coz I HAVE an imagination!! hehe! WHEW yeah, steamy! NOT bad chik! And that Noor is a little nosybeeoch(I have to be semi-kind this wacky site likes to sensor our reviews with these little !) OF course I lov'd Booth's choice in T-shirts! 7: Was a tad shocked that Bren slugged Noor, but hey not like she didn't deserve it!! And who didn't love Booth's declaration to Noor that he'd had to of been desperate to sleep with her not Brennan! Bwahahah! LOV'D that one!! AND Bren the ever logical* one, finds it necessary to throw herself infront of a diplomat!! URHG! 8: OH poor Booth! Things just weren't going his way!! Seems he had a "Did I say that out loud?" moment sniggers So much for that cat being securely in the bag! And then he gets into a fight with the wall...and the wall won!! I did get a wonderful chuckle out of his answer to Cullen's question though--that played out perfectly!! I thought it interesting that Bren was disturbed by the knowledge that she wouldn't [most likely]be able to have children, although we often want something we might not originally wanted, once we know we can't have it--the human psyche is an odd place to dwell! I did find it funny that Noor would find it her business to find out "what's going on" when Booth turned in his badge/gun. Pfft! like she wouldn't know it would happen! Grr!! I seem to be sharing Booth's anger issues in this respect!! LOL! I liked how he placated Bones and moved the conversation away from the "suspension" issue--what a guy!! And he's not leaving S.D. till she's all recovered sigh...swoons Again what a guy!! 9: Gawd I love Caroline! And didn't we all giggle that Mr. Grabby would drop the charges but Brennan wouldn't?! Hmm, she has terms...wonder what they could be!?! hehe! I lov'd that Brennan didn't know Cullen found out about them sleeping together and her shock at thinking Booth told him--yeah, like Booth was just gona blurt out "Oh btw Sir, Bones and me had sex, just wanted you t'know"--she's a hoot! LOL! I liked the uncertainty that was left as to the extent of their relationship...it was teetering towards more but still had an air of hesitancy to it. OKAY, I have to give Noor Kudos for her statements during the questioning AND her forceful declaration of going above Cullen's head to have Booth reinstated if he lost his job because of her. I guess it pays to have connections as a Diplomat in these instances! Hmm, found it interesting how the end played out and I'm undecided on how I feel Cullen's attitude and seemingly harshness added to this--DON'T get me wrong I'm extrememly happy that Booth gets to keep his job and the partnership--I'm just not sure if I liked Cullen's demeanor [maybe that's because we haven't seen him in forever!] I'll have to ponder that some more while I move onto the next in the series! And I have no doubt "descreet" and "under the radar" will be prominent words in B & B's vocabulary!! Whooboy! (I'll check in w/ya on the tv scripts! GO you!! Can't wait to hear all about it!! I'm still jealous you got to ogle DB in person!! :} ~G :D

mendenbar 2008-05-30 ch 2,	abuseOkay, I almost never do this, but you are forcing me to- start a review while I am still reading. I can take the bad puns (bottom feeder, indeed), and the inside jokes (Booth Express!) but really, Goldy, "seminole" fluid? Why blame it on the indians? Seminal fluid? Oh, just a typo? Why didn't you say so! Also, in another chapter, you have Booth uncuffing his shirt, everyone and their grandmothers know that Booth never buttons his cuffs. It's a little foible like never wearing a seatbelt (I watched all 3 seasons over just to check and he never wears it.)(Compulsive? Nyah.) Barely T - and Vampires, too! I don't know why I didn't get an alert about this story when it first came out. FFN drives me crazier than Booth in this story. I hope to God, or whomever you pray to, that you do get "a foot in the door" and as a writer on Bone would be fantastic. Then, perhaps, we wouldn't get shows like "A Pain in the Heart." Faux Maven and Labsquint have written a very moving piece, rewriting that episode that finally gave me some closure. I would highly recommend it to anyone disappointed in the Finale. I would like to see what you would do with that episode.

I mean, how on earth do you justify the fact that he almost (& would definitely have if they hadn't been interrupted) slept with another woman, when he "loves" Bones? WTF? Is it the way he shows her his feelings?? roll eyes* For me, he's an ** who thinks only with his..., and he definitely does not loves Temperance. But hey, your story was great!! No prob there. But I just really didn't want them together. He's not worth it.

That explains it:) Am glad Bren's on the mend, and Booth's handling all his work stressors so well. “You told Cullen we had sex? Why would you do that?”--"Well, Bren, because I'm a guy. And you are hot. And I wanted him to know that I'm doing you. Wanna make something of it?" No for Booth being out of a job! Boo! Hate Cullen. “I think that it would be foolish not to acknowledge the changes that have occurred in our relationship.”--Holy crap! Being shot raised her IQ to a level HIGHER THAN A SNAIL! That's AMAZING! YAY! Well, good for Noor not being a box. Thanks for that. Now he had to find a way to keep his relationship with her off of the radar, but that shouldn’t be too difficult. --Ooh. This calls for some illicit sneaking around, yes? Hot:) Great job, Mel. I so can't do the case stuff, so the fact that you can impresses me. As long as you can promise me that Booth and Bren will only scrog each other from now until eternity, will stay abreast with the rest of the series. Agreed? Agreed.

She threw herself on the line to save the dumbbox? Bren! sigh. She's so good. I would have used her as a human shield. Gad. I know she'll be okay, yes? YES? This is why I let the chapters build up. Now I don't have to wait and threaten you. See? It's all for you...
