Capital-C 2008-03-27 . chapter 7Though not quite historically accurate, it's nice to see a happy ending here. And nice to see Angelica getting along with Chuckie as well. |
Capital-C 2008-03-22 . chapter 6Poor Chuckie. How sad. Well, at least he didn’t get it quite as bad the real Samson. |
Capital-C 2008-03-22 . chapter 5Highlights for this chapter. The training scene with the Rocky music. And an entertaining fight scene as well. |
Capital-C 2008-03-22 . chapter 4That Angelica, sneaky as always. But that's why we like her. |
Capital-C 2008-03-22 . chapter 3The 'washing machine' gag, that thing with the locusts. The scene at the club, particularly the part when music from Saturday Night Fever started to play. And the reference to a certain spinach eating sailor was rather amusing as well. |
Capital-C 2008-03-22 . chapter 2“If you don’t give him to us, we’ll destroy the town, steal the aminals, and paint on the walls until we ruin the original color.” (Priceless)
“No, I just painted my kitchen!” (Also priceless)
Other highlights include, the Lion King reference, and that thing with the chicken. All and all, an amusing chapter. |
 Capital-C 2008-03-22 . chapter 1Nice introduction. |
Forever Young 2008-03-16 . chapter 7Yeah, definately lighter than the Biblical version, but I like seeing repentant Angelica :) Yay happy ending. Cute touch with Haro-cles or however you said it ;) |
keth1 2008-03-16 . chapter 7This was a wonderful innocent retelling of a bible story. You should give yourself a pat on the back for your work.I mean it.This was a truly enjoyable story.
What's next a superhero story?Or a another romance and friendship story? |
Me 2008-03-15 . chapter 7Great job; I finally had time to read all of it. (I enjoy doing it all at once more.) I loved the comedy you put in there, and how you put it on the little kids' levels. the soldier hanging from the window was great, and so was a lot of other stuff.
Veggie Tales hasn't really touched this, probably becasue it'd be hard with, as you say, all the gore and stuff compared to some, but yours was the next best thing. |
Carolina Boy 2008-03-15 . chapter 7Great ending! Great story!
To be quite honest, I'm not all that familiar with this paticular tale, but all the same... you did an excellent job with it, in my opinion.
Great work, my friend! *adds to favorites* |
soulman3 2008-03-14 . chapter 7I thought it was kinder ending then the original one.I like the part where the philistines meet up with haro-cles.Then change ther minds of going to greece and decided to go to egypt.
And im glade angelica turn out better then the origianl woman from the story.I know the original deiali did love samson, but don't change what she did.
I can't wait to see what story you will work on next. |
Nightw2 2008-03-14 . chapter 7Hey there. Thanks greatly for getting the wrap-up to this up. Once again, terrific job on the action, humor and exchanges as well as, especially, giving this a far happier ending than the actual source material. :-D Admittedly, knowing you, none of what I listed was really surprising, but I DID greatly appreciate it AND you did a clever job on it; particularly the epilogue. Anyway, thanks once more for sharing your work with us. |
Mr. Average 2008-03-14 . chapter 7Very nice. The Haro-cles part was hysterically funny. In the original version when Samson broke the column did the palce crush him? Or dd he survive and have Delilah put to death or what? I say let them go to Egypt. What could go wrong there? ;) Overall, a very good story. I liked it a lot. Keep up the good writing old friend. Also, I've been working on the next chapter of "Future's past" and it's coming along very nicely. I might even get it posted later today! A fter I get tat done I'll write a little of that side story i told you about the other day and send it to you for your seal of approval. Peace |
loonytunecrazy 2008-03-14 . chapter 7Thanks for getting up this last chaper , I really enjoyed it and I look forward to your next fic |
