long chapters i've been reading for an hour and i'm only on chap 3 but really good i didn't understand it at first but i'm getting it now any i love the story so far but i kinda think that Xiao Zhi is a jerk in the story stormbenders but i have a few questions like, who is she? and what is her past like? and why is she such a jerk all the time?

This is probably one of the best fanfictions I've ever read. It's topped only by the first fanficiton I ever read which will forever hold a special place in my heart. I wish the story would never have ended. I was sad when it started coming to an end because it made me so happy reading it. You wrote the characters amazingly. I wish I'd become a fan of avatar sooner just so I could have read this fic sooner.

I found your story on Sunday and I finished it yesterday afternoon, forsaking all homework, chores and love for my poor animals. I pride myself as at least an amature writer but right at this moment I cannpot find a word to describe how utterly amazing this fic is. I laughed myself stupid and actually cried at the end. It was beautiful and moving and so in character, so well put, so full of emotion and love and... I utterly adore it.

I thank you from the very bottom of my heart for writing this, for indulging my Zutara-ness, for making me roll around on the floor for ten minutes straight laughing at the "It wasn't so big" scene and for making me sqeal in delight at the sibling!Tokko that just made this story the best I have read so far.

I wish with all my heart this is how the show ended and I'm pretty convinced that if it was not a children's show, the ending would have been similar to this.

Thanks also for making Zuko so much part of that family. I adored that almost as much as I loved Zuko and Katara kissing.

Now I'm going to take abreak to catch up on reality and work and then I'm going to go onto your other stories.

I don't actually like the beginning of this story. i hated the OCs and how Katara was a little OOC. But towards the middle, I loved how you wrote about Zuko and Katara's interaction. It was really really real. Plus, I really enjoyed reading your story! :D. finished it in two sittings. And your afterword made sense with 'For me, Aang is not the hero of ATLA. Zuko is. Zuko is the one who has change and growth and development. Conversely, all of Aang’s views get validated and he doesn’t have to change his ways at all – he gets his druthers and never has to make a decision that might sacrifice his personality or identity. He remains insulated from the world and its problems, and rewarded for his weakness. Does he defeat the Fire Lord? Yes. But does he conquer any of his inner demons? No. And it’s sad, because while the others have grown up, he has not. He is Peter Pan, and the Lion-Turtle’s back is his Neverland.' I really loved your story!:D

I just... cant say what you made me feel with this story. I read this story in Spanish, the traduction that MTBlack made. And i just can say: WOW, and that could be insufficient. I just cried, laughed, and got excited in every chapter that i read. Certainly, this is the best fanfiction and stoy that i ever read. You made a fantastic work writing all the legends and the cultural stuff, it really lead me to the center of the story and made me feel everything that the characters could feel at the moment. Congratulations, you made an awesome work.
About the characters. The relation between Toph and Zuko it´s really really adorable. I was about to cry when Zuko and Katara were about to leave, and the way they joy to be together it´s simply great.
The moment of the first kiss was the best that i ever read. Some kisses in other stories were very, very descriptive and they just pall you at the point that u cant feel the moment.
In other words, the best story i ever read in my life, cogratulations and thank you very much.

First off, awesome story. You are a very talented writer. Secondly, I agree with you that Zuko is the hero. I am a Zutara shipper though and I didnt like the way the series ended in regards to the relationships. I think Zutara makes more sense than Kataang or Maiko. I was hooked to this story even before I knew the whole plotline. And I absolutely loved everything.

It was a joyride from start to finish, and you have my full admiration on creating such an epic, enthralling story. It made me laugh, smile, and think. It was the whole package.

I'm sorry to say that I've only just found it about a year later.

The themes/opinions you had in the last author's note made me think through them, things I hadn't thought all that hard about before. So thank you for bringing those up, and really, for writing it. I know I don't have the ability to write anything with so much thought as this. Plus the fact of how you wrote the characters so in character. And how they grew and everything.
