Anon 7/26/11 . chapter 2 Alright, while the rest of this story is just awesome, I have a bone to pick with Elisa about automatically assuming the flowers came from Goliath or at least not being suspicious of them.
1) It's dubious enough that Goliath could get the flowers in the first place. Where or how could he buy any store-bought ones if they were from the store?
And 2) even if Goliath somehow managed to get flowers (I'll concede to the argument that the roses might be wild), then how did he get it into the precinct? It's a police station. There'd be surveillance and people on graveyard duty. It's not like someone could just waltz in without notice.
Considering normal circumstances, I find it highly unlikely that a seasoned detective, like Elisa, wouldn't have her doubts about the flowers. At least at first or without having some evidence to prove Goliath sent them. |
Meggan Blackwood 9/28/05 . chapter 1 Oh, my... this series just keeps getting better and better.
I've never wanted to reach in and give a story character a good solid comforting hug, the way I find myself wanting to hug poor 'Lilah.
And I do believe I espy a crossover with another gone-but-not-forgotten TV show, "Beauty and the Beast"...
I can't imagine why this story doesn't have dozens of near-worshipful reviews! This whole series would receive my vote for *Best Ever*, and this story is the best one yet.
On to the next chapter! |
