I'm against a 'captured by manticore' subplot, as it would take up several chapters that would be a digression from the James/Lily romance thing. ie the Marauders follow & liberate her, maybe obliviate everybody who took her?
I'd love for there to be at least a few duplicates of her, so the readers of this fic will start hoping that it wasn't actually Lily who got killed that night...maybe she got recaptured, and Voldemort burst in and killed one of the team that got her?

Funny to hear Seth calling a castle full of witches/wizards "Ordinaries" but I suppose it's all relative .
I have to admit, I'm really hoping Lily doesn't die somehow, that maybe an X of the same series dies instead & is mistaken for her. oh well. Interesting to think that HP might be 1/2 transgenic & that's the "power he knows not..." of the prophecy...also he'd end up with a lot of transgenic supporters if they knew about him..
