I love it!!

I just finished reading this story, and I absolutely loved it, just like the other stories by you that I've read. I really do imagine this would be how Vader and Luke would interact with each other had they found each other sooner. I've read other stories where Luke had been raised by Vader, but your stories are the only ones I've read that are completely true to the characters. Fantastic job, and keep up the great work. :D

I just love that image of Vader's so-meaningful dream. As all his former friends and family leave as the Emperor cackles behind him, and he can't hold onto them... and he's all alone, with only the Emperor. But then, sunshine streaming behind him, Luke comes out onto the balcony.

SO sweet.

Also, it's kind of sick how much I re-read your series.

I've been reading these stories for a week or so now, and I have to say that they are my favorite Star Wars fanfic's I've read. I especially liked this one and Force Bond 3. You are an amazing writer, and I hope you continue to write these stories...:)

Ohh very nice! I just finished reading it in one go. I adore the way you write L&V's relationship!
BTW in the scene where Vader sends people to his destroyed ship (ch 11), it should probably be pilots' bodies, not pilot's bodies. Unless you meant the pilot to be a borg-like species, with one consciousness but several bodies.

I think I started reading this a while ago, but lost track of it. ::facepalm:: Glad I found it again. :D I so love your Vader and Luke stories.

been awhile since i been able to post a review , have not been reading much star wars lately, but will again now that i see I've starting writing again, kinda been hooked on star gate sg-1
have you ever watched it?, If you have then you know there's a lot of good ideals there. Daniel Jackson's childhood, parents killed and he saw it happen , became a orphaned at 8. foster home and his own grandfather did not want him and let him be given over to home after home. he has a very high IQ and had his first P.H.d by time he was 20. just think it over , i loved forced bond so much and i have not seen many writers that do Daniel's life as well as you did with Luke's in FORCED BOND. think about it , let me know what you think i will read your story asap.

Hi. New to the boards but just wanted you to know that this was a heart-warming story. I really enjoyed it a great deal and you've clearly worked hard to keep both the main characters true to type whilst serving what's clearly an ongoing theme of retribution.
I don't generally read 'young Luke' stories, but this managed to pull me in and hold me.
Perhaps the only thing which occasionally knocked me out of the story was the use of correct syntax when characters were speaking; children especially don't tend to say, 'I would not do this' or 'I am not leaving' - they generally fall back on shortened pronunciations, such as 'I wouldn't do this' or 'I'm not leaving'.
It really is a small issue in an otherwise sweet and engaging story, and I hope you'll continue to delight with many more.

I am one again amazed at your never-ending crativity to render feelings. Your use of dreams, of situations... is incredible !

Just wanted to say how much I love the Force Bond stories! I love the way you have Vader struggling between being a "good sith" and being a good father (with fatherly feelings winning out). In fact I just love everything about the relationship between Luke and his father, and the stories in general.

Can't wait for more stories in the future! :)

Your Force Bond series is always wonderful, but I was particularly impressed by this interlude. You take scenes we all dream about - Vader confronting Leia, Luke seeing Naboo - and handle them effortlessly. And Vader is always to be believed; and yet funny, wonderfully dry and himself. Luke is sunshine pure. Thank you for the delightful read!

this is actually for chapter 14, but you can't review the chapter more than once so i had to go back. i have been waiting for an update for like 2 weeks so i went into the chapter and started to review to beg for one when i realized i had already read and reviewed the story that clearly says COMPLETE. and i just had to tell you that because it was hilarious. you are a very talented writer and i love the entire force bond series, and your other works.

Awesome story, even one of the best of the superb FB series. I especially loved Luke's growing maturity here- it is better described than in FB4 (or even in FB3)- he understands his father more and more, learns to deal with his faults, mistakes- sins- without accepting them he can accept his father. Brilliant!
