This was beautiful! I always wished that they had put more of John and Nancy's backstory into that little scene at the funeral.

Absolutely fantastic. I loved everything about this story- Nancy's perspective, the backstory, the impression we get of John... Just, wow.

What a marvelous fic! It's really rare to find a piece focused on relationships that is actually written with a mature, realistic perspective (as opposed to the mass of juvenile het crap that's out there) Beautifully rendered and rang really true.

This is actually a really great look at Nancy and John. I don't usually expect much from stories that focus on John because very few people bother to try, or succeed in, getting his personality right (myself included). But the way you told it from Nancy's view and how their marriage fell apart is all very much like him. I'm impressed.

Holy cow!! That was beyond excellent. Amazing backstory you've created here and amazing job with the characters. (I like your Nancy so much better than the little bit of Nancy we got to know on screen!)

Gods, that was beautifully written. Loved how you wrote the back story of how John and Nancy came together, and the slow breakdown of their marriage was heartbreaking because you just wanted it to somehow work out. Voices were totally in character. And that last part where Nancy hoped that John could find that place where he's at home, was just poignant. Because, I think with Atlantis, he has. Thank you for sharing!
