Another fun resource is the Draconomicon. It's more focused on true dragons rather than dragon kin, but you might find some useful stuff in it.

if you look either in races of dragon or Dragon magic in the back is a list of words with thier draconic meaning. In my D&D game right now my character is a spellscale sorcerer named Ixen meaning fire in draconinc.
