Oh my god...that was so sad...it was such an amazing portrayal...I always thought this song suited them always!

That was amazing. It was really touching and you have an excellent writing style. Keep it up.

Wow... brutal.

It certainly gets across the painful, panicky horror of watching someone die a violent death. Good work.

A couple constructive suggestions (which you have every right to ignore ;-)):

"SPLURT"

The rest of this fic is so hardcore visual that this almost seems out of place. You have very, VERY little reference to any sound information in this story, which kind of makes it seem like it's a movie playing out in deathly silence. This one bit of onomatopoeia seems really out of place, and even a little cheesy. Perhaps you could either emphasize the sound qualities of this scene more, or stick with a purely visual scene (which seems to be enough! :))

Good job on not being afraid to be bloody. It really drives home the terror that Cloud is experiencing.

The only other thing that I can think to comment on is that you kind of waffle back and forth between whether or not you want this to be told in narrative prose, or a freestyle poetic verse. This is not to say that you can't have both. But I think it would be easier for the reader if you made it clearer which sections were prose, and which poetry. And to make those two sections really distinct.

In any case, I've probably rambled on long enough. Great work, as always, and keep it up! I hope to see more work from you in the future!

This is..bittersweet. Filled with feelings that aren't acknowleged, and thoughts that aren't said.

I know excatly how Cloud feels. He needs some major love after this third tragedy. Yes, that's right third.1st was the burning of Nibelheim, 2nd was Aerith's death, and 3rd was you making him revisit Aerith's death!! You meany!j/k(lol) I really did like your story. I know I've said this before but I really did like this version better than the game version. It's more emotional and tragic. Oh, the only reason I called you a meany was because it really did make a strong impact on me. I would never actually call you anything like that^^ You're too awesome to be called anything but charming things.

Btw the beginning, reminded me of Titanic, another wonderful, yet tragic love story...='[

Aack aack aack!! This is stupendous. You have a very unique way of writing that really cuts through to your soul, makes you want to sit down and cry with Cloud, makes you wish Aerith was alive just so that these sad words wouldn't be so sad. The way you piece together the English language is magical. You have a tremendous flair for writing, please keep blessing this planet with your words, Cleris or not. I think you described Cloud's emotions to the tee (though I think kissing is the last thing on his mind after dear old Sephy stabs her xP).
