The act sounds amazing but heartbreaking (kind of like the Edward Scissorhands film itself, really). “Why do you have to be so convincing? Sorry, I haven't gotten much sleep lately and I sleep between the time that it takes for my computer to load up or start up a new page. The story was interesting, but it doesn't really hold your attention as much...it sort of drifts from the main point of what you're trying to communicate to your readers: that no matter what you want, or what is real, everything is always a show, or put on, or fake, and that the only things that you can depend on to never change are the people who long for it the most. You need more detail, and more emotion: what are they really thinking as the show goes on? And what do the surrounding people, the viewers of the show feel? What is the atmosphere? This is what I would LIKE to think of as constructive criticism, but you could just as easily delete this review like I delete spam from my e-mail's inbox. I hope that you write another Scissorhands fic soon though, because you have some very good talents here with words. Hope you start another story soon! ~Wolfy~ |
